At Tellemachus our consultancy services are at the core of our business and our GDPR consultancy services are another example of us being at the very forefront of our industry.
Designed to assist your organisation in its continued compliance with GDPR, our consultants have the experience and expertise to oversee any required changes in your privacy and data management.
To start with however, let’s have a look at GDPR in more detail:
GDPR stands for the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. GDPR is the result of years of work to bring data protection regulation in line with how data is currently used, the previous regulations were created in the 1990’s – so had fallen out of date in recent years. GDPR came into force in May of 2018 and changed how businesses and public sector organisations manage their customer’s information and details.
How does our GDPR Consultancy help?
As with any consultancy, it simply depends on the requirements of your organisation and we are happy to offer consultancy at all levels. So if you need a presentation at a board level about the importance of GDPR and an explanation of the steps each organisation takes, we can do that. Alternatively, if you need us to oversee and complete the implementation of GDPR for your organisation, that’s also not a problem.
Many of our customers choose to outsource their GDPR requirements and compliance to us and as such we have developed a four stage approach which removes the worry and stress from GDPR:
Analyse: What personal data does your organisation hold and where is it stored?
Manage: Review who can see this data and how it is used within your organisation.
Secure: Implement processes to secure information, whilst checking vulnerabilities.
Report: Remain compliant with the correct documentation and data handling.
If you have any questions about what GDPR means for your business, and what we can do to help you in your journey to GDPR compliance – please do get in touch and we will be more than happy to discuss your exact requirements.
